Medium 'Write On' Lithium Battery Labels

These Medium “Write On” Lithium Battery Labels provide a flexible way to identify applicable packages containing lithium batteries. Measuring 100mm x 75mm, the label features the recognisable lithium battery and flame graphic with a red diagonal striped border, together with a blank section for adding the appropriate UN number.

Unlike pre-printed lithium battery labels, this writable lithium battery label allows the relevant UN classification to be added when preparing the package. The label also includes several “Contains:” lines, providing additional space to record relevant information about the contents.

The 100mm x 75mm format offers a useful medium-sized option for packaging where a full 100mm x 100mm mark cannot be accommodated. The current IATA 2026 guidance allows the lithium battery mark to be reduced to not less than 100mm wide x 70mm high when the size of the package requires it, with the design features remaining approximately proportional.

This makes these 100mm x 75mm lithium battery labels a useful option for businesses looking for a writable battery shipping label with more space than the smaller 35mm x 32mm visual identification labels. They can be used by battery suppliers, electronics businesses, equipment manufacturers, warehouse teams and shipping departments, subject to the requirements applicable to the individual shipment.

PLEASE NOTE: The 100mm x 75mm format may be suitable for use as a reduced-size lithium battery mark where the package size requires a smaller mark and all applicable requirements are met.

Please check the current regulations applicable to your battery, packaging and method of transport before use. Where a package is large enough to accommodate the standard 100mm x 100mm mark, the full-size mark may be required.

How do I personalise the Label?

To add your print instructions to a personalised product, simply choose a colour (if applicable) and/or select a quantity. Then click 'Add Print Instructions', this will trigger the print instruction screen in which you can enter everything that you require us to print on to your labels.

Will I see how my Label will look before I order?

Our website will NOT show you a preview of how your label will look before you order. This is because our artwork team create your label from scratch using the information you provide with your order and manually adjust the layout to give the best finished design.

Do I get a Label Proof?

Proofs are not provided as default, this is to ensure that we are able to get orders processed on time and maintain our speed of service. If you would like to see a proof of your labels before we go to final print, this can be done upon request. Please ask for a proof in the 'Special Requests' box provided on the Print Instructions window. Requesting a proof may effect the lead time of your order.

What if I'm not 100% sure of something?

If you are not absolutely 100% certain of anything at all, please give us a quick call on 01325 525 675 before purchase. Our Sales Team can then help you make sure there are no oversights and communicate any specific requirements to the production team. We are here to help and make sure you get exactly what you want.

It is your responsibilty as a buyer, to inform us of all requirements in your print instructions, either before or at the time of order. No assumptions at all should be made.
