Our Large UN 3091 Lithium Metal Battery Labels are designed to provide clear and highly visible identification for applicable packages containing lithium metal batteries that are contained in or packed with equipment during dangerous goods transportation.

Featuring the recognised Lithium Battery Mark with the UN 3091 identification number, these labels identify shipments where lithium metal batteries are associated with equipment. UN 3091 is specifically used for lithium metal batteries contained in equipment or lithium metal batteries packed with equipment. This is different from UN 3090, which applies to lithium metal batteries transported on their own.

For example, UN 3091 can apply where a lithium metal battery is installed inside the equipment it powers, or where a lithium metal battery is packed in the same package as the equipment it is designed to power. Current IATA guidance identifies these as UN 3091 shipments under the relevant packing instructions.

Measuring 100mm x 100mm, these large Lithium Metal Battery Labels provide a prominent marking for applicable packaging. The design features the red diagonal striped border, battery and flame graphic and bold UN 3091 identification number.

These UN 3091 Lithium Battery Shipping Labels are suitable for businesses involved in the manufacture, packaging, distribution, handling and transportation of equipment containing or supplied with lithium metal batteries. They can be particularly useful for electronics businesses, equipment manufacturers, battery suppliers, warehouses, shipping departments and logistics operations.

The label forms part of the dangerous goods identification process for applicable shipments. The exact marking, packaging and documentation requirements depend on the transport method and the specific battery and equipment configuration, so the applicable dangerous goods regulations should always be checked before dispatch.

Common uses include: lithium metal batteries contained in equipment, lithium metal batteries packed with equipment, lithium battery shipping, battery packaging, dangerous goods transport, electronics equipment, battery-powered equipment, warehouse dispatch, logistics, manufacturing and freight shipments.

How do I personalise the Label?

To add your print instructions to a personalised product, simply choose a colour (if applicable) and/or select a quantity. Then click 'Add Print Instructions', this will trigger the print instruction screen in which you can enter everything that you require us to print on to your labels.

Will I see how my Label will look before I order?

Our website will NOT show you a preview of how your label will look before you order. This is because our artwork team create your label from scratch using the information you provide with your order and manually adjust the layout to give the best finished design.

Do I get a Label Proof?

Proofs are not provided as default, this is to ensure that we are able to get orders processed on time and maintain our speed of service. If you would like to see a proof of your labels before we go to final print, this can be done upon request. Please ask for a proof in the 'Special Requests' box provided on the Print Instructions window. Requesting a proof may effect the lead time of your order.
