Personalised Plug Top 4th/5th Edition Passed PAT Test Labels. Choice of Colours

We’ve produced our Plug Top Passed PAT Testing Label which are available in 4 colours to meet new edition requirements to the IET Code of Practice. The new edition states that Tester Initials, Test Date and Appliance Number are the only things that need to be present on the label. This is to ensure that the duty holders refers to their registers to evaluate the next retest date of appliances.

Our 5th Edition Plug Top Passed PAT Labels have been created for fixing to the plug tops of appliances. The Plug Top PAT Testing Stickers are a lot smaller than our Standard Size Stickers, this is to offer a more discreet labelling for customer appliances. These 5th Edition Plug Top PAT Labels come in a range of 4 colours, Blue, Black, Purple and Green. The colour range can be used for labelling Portable Appliances when the re-test periods are different. Alternatively they provide a different colour from the standard green.

All our PAT Labels have been manufactured by us on site, which have been created from a non-rip and easy to write on plastic. Most pens can be used but we would like to mention that use of a permanent fine liner is recommended. The 5th Edition Plug Top Stickers have a very strong, permanent adhesive yet it is not recommended that they are used on rubberised or embossed plugs. This will reject the adhesive on all labels as well as ours. These 5th Edition PAT Testing Stickers must be applied to clean, flat, smooth surfaces to maintain the best results.

IMPORTANT: The Print Instructions Page should only be used to tell us information that is required to be printed onto your labels. Please do not type anything that you don't want to be printed.

How do I personalise the Label?

To add your print instructions to a personalised product, simply choose a colour (if applicable) and/or select a quantity. Then click 'Add Print Instructions', this will trigger the print instruction screen in which you can enter everything that you require us to print on to your labels.

Will I see how my Label will look before I order?

Our website will NOT show you a preview of how your label will look before you order. This is because our artwork team create your label from scratch using the information you provide with your order and manually adjust the layout to give the best finished design.

Do I get a Label Proof?

Proofs are not provided as default, this is to ensure that we are able to get orders processed on time and maintain our speed of service. If you would like to see a proof of your labels before we go to final print, this can be done upon request. Please ask for a proof in the 'Special Requests' box provided on the Print Instructions window. Requesting a proof may effect the lead time of your order.

What if I'm not 100% sure of something?

If you are not absolutely 100% certain of anything at all, please give us a quick call on 01325 525 675 before purchase. Our Sales Team can then help you make sure there are no oversights and communicate any specific requirements to the production team. We are here to help and make sure you get exactly what you want.

It is your responsibilty as a buyer, to inform us of all requirements in your print instructions, either before or at the time of order. No assumptions at all should be made.
